Paper paint strainers are made with nylon / polyester mesh and paper with different thickness.
The selection of paper paint strainer will depend on the type of paint you want to filter such as water based or solvent based paint.
Generally, the microns below are used in European Countries:
- Water based Paint – 125 Micron (=MESH 120)
- Solvent based Paint / Clear Coat – 190 Micron (=MESH 80)
In addition to the two normal microns 190/125 micron, there are more microns below for special requests.
